MOP Stanley Cup Playoffs Bracket

Public Pool Created By MyOfficePool.ca
Commish Message
Stanley Cup Playoffs time! This is our free entry public pool (see: Mike's $22 entry pool).

Fill in a bracket picking all of the series winners, number of games plus 5 skaters. Playoffs are expected to start April 18. We usually push the deadline a couple days after the start, but I'll wait for the schedule release to decide.

I am out of MOP t-shirts, and I never get around to mailing Tim Horton's hockey cards, so let's do a $50 prize to the member with the top score after the Stanley Cup Finals. Enjoy and good luck!

Dreaded (Jun 14 '23): Thanks Mike, for organizing the pool. Great fun! Cheers.
Mike (Jun 14 '23): Congrats Savage on the win! Great job picking Vegas to hoist the Cup. Thanks everyone for playing. Next up, Women's World Cup. It starts July 20th. Pools up soon (hopefully).
Savage (Jun 14 '23): Lots of fun and great hockey throughout the playoffs. Thanks for organizing the pool Mike. Looking forward to it again next year.
Mike (Jun 12 '23): Tuesday to close this off?
Mike (Jun 8 '23): Panthers still have some fight. OT win.
Mike (Jun 6 '23): Vegas is well on their way, but faster than 7 games.
Dreaded (Jun 2 '23): and Chad has an outside shot if Vegas wins in 7, and Tkachuk outscores Eichel by 11 points. Far fetched, sure, not any more that Florida in the Final!
Mike (Jun 1 '23): Indeed! The best laid plans... E-ChahatK and Savage are deadlocked in 1st and have the same lone player earning points. But Savage has Vegas so a win by them should secure a first place finish. Finals start Saturday!
Dreaded (May 29 '23): oh well, so much for that Dallas pick. Seemed like a good idea,..back in the day!
Mike (May 23 '23): I think "Bobrovsky Conn Smythe" is already trending.
Mike (May 19 '23): So who stayed up last night to watch the OT?
Mike (May 16 '23): Very true. That might be the average or a little higher than average this year with all of the 4-x entries.
Dreaded (May 15 '23): Normally, a 1 for 4 semi final pick success rate is nothing to get excited about, but in this case I might okay with it.
Mike (May 15 '23): No more Canadian teams. If I checked points in the pool this year to prior years, I don't think our picks this year would stack up very well.
Mike (May 11 '23): First Round 2 series points go to the Canes.
Mike (May 11 '23): Leafs stay alive. First Round 2 series points tonight?
Mike (May 9 '23): Oilers - not the way to return home.
Mike (May 7 '23): Oilers - now that is how you even up a series.
Mike (May 3 '23): Round 2! And we start with two upsets.
Dreaded (Apr 29 '23): Thanks for looking into that Mike.
Mike (Apr 29 '23): Oh, and LEAFS WIN! LEAFS WIN!
Mike (Apr 29 '23): Hey. I would say it is because the seeds changed since you made your picks in this pool, so some teams may be misaligned with the series they ultimately played in. Everyone should get points for picking a team to win even if not against the right team. I'll look into it and update.
tomcatmc (Apr 29 '23): Me too Mike. Why does it show that I picked Colorado in the Dallas-Minnesota series when I picked Dallas? Just curious
Dreaded (Apr 29 '23): Hi Mike, I was wondering if I should get any points for picking Dallas to win their series against Minnesota? Thanks.
Mike (Apr 28 '23): First series points handed out finally. Vegas in 5.

Picks for Mike, Entry #1 Total Points: 115 Rank: 50th
