There is a new version of the Baseball Cheatsheet Compiler & Draft Buddy now available on the site. There are not a lot of changes, but one key change for each of the Compiler and Buddy.
The main known issue with the Compiler 1.0 was that players who are eligible for multiple positions were only showing up under one position on the cheatsheet. This is now corrected so players such as Victor Martinez, Chone Figgins, Lance Berkman, etc. show up under each position they are eligible for based on your league number of games requirement.
One caveat: the Compiler will take a little longer to crunch the numbers to create the cheatsheets, but at this point I’m choosing accuracy and quality over speed, which I’m confident is the right choice.
Draft Buddy 2.0 is not a fix, but a new feature I think most of you are really going to like if you are in a rotisserie scoring league. There is a new tab called, “roto”, that calculates the projected roto standings as the draft progresses. It highlights your team, and also every team’s strength or weakness in each stat category. This is a really cool feature to help give more direction to your draft picks as you’ll know which categories you are killing, and which ones you need to address before you get killed.
Here is a small screen shot of the new feature (click for a bigger picture):
I hope you enjoy the new features. Make sure to get on the Compiler mailing list, and drop me an email if you have any feedback or questions.
